I had been in bondage for years.
Fear, anxiety and doubt crippled me.
My past haunted me.
All I could see was missed opportunities.
I lived in a box known as regret.

But then one day, I stepped outside of the box.
But now what?
Where do I go from here?

I started walking.
Walking into the unknown.
I was unsure what was around the next corner.
I didn't know what the future held.

Fear started to creep back in.
I started thinking... I should turn around.
I can go back to my box.
I know the box includes bondage, but at least I know what is there.

It is the unknown that I don't like.

I am at a cross road:
turn around and keep doing what I have always done.
OR walk forward.

So I choose to walk forward.

While walking, I suddenly realized I had nothing.
Not even water or food.
But then something miraculous happened.
I came across a bin on the side of the road.
It was full of everything I needed.
Bottles of water and plenty of food.

A sign on the bin said "take only what you need."
But I was still very fearful.
So I ignored the sign, and took more than I needed.

I walked for six days.
The next day, I came across a tree with a hammock in it.
There was sign next to it "rest here today."
I was so tired.
But anxiety still gripped me.
So I ignored the sign, and kept walking.

Then a man approached me and asked:
"Why are you carrying more than you need?"
"Why do you look so tired?"

The man seemed genuine, kind, and caring.
Why was He even interested in helping me?

He invited me to walk with Him.
He told me he knew the best paths to take.
He said he knew the way.

The way to where?

I did not know.
But for some reason, I trusted this Man.
So I took the biggest step I have ever taken...
I started walked with Him.

As it turns out...
He did know the best paths to take.
He lead me down the path of healing.
The path of forgiveness.
The path of freedom.
The path of joy.
The path of purpose.
The path of redemption.

Do you want to know my favorite part of walking with Him?
He has given me permission to invite YOU.
You can walk down the best paths too.
Do you want to walk with us?

While editing photos I came across this image. Manna in the wilderness came to mind.

...in the morning there was a layer of dew all over the camp. When the layer of dew had lifted, there on the wilderness ground was a fine flaky something, fine as frost on the ground. Exodus 16:13-14

The writing above was based on Exodus 16, and my personal experience with walking with Jesus.
