Celebrating Two

We had so much fun celebrating Maddie and Dawson this past weekend with family and friends. It really does take a village to raise kids, and we couldn't be more grateful for ours!

If you are in Charlotte and in need of a cake, I highly recommend Wow Factor Cakes. Amy is hands down one of my favorite people in the wedding industry - she is as sweet as her cakes! Not only was this cake as cute as could be, but it was literally the best cake I have ever eaten. I may order one for myself for mother's day...

Speaking of sugar... This morning we took the kids to Dunkin Donuts for the first time. I think their favorite part was the sprinkles.

We have two birthday traditions. Brad gets Maddie roses for how old she is that year, and I will get Dawson balloons for how old he is. The idea started when we both pictured me hand delivering balloons to Dawson's work when he is 40 years old. There is a good chance he is going to choose to live far, far away from us ;)

But seriously... This little girl could not be more loved.

And since they are St. Patrick's Day babies... yes we do have coordinating outfits ;)
